Survival: Charting our Course Conference, held November 14-16, 2002 at the
Ho-Chunk Convention Center, two nationally recognized language authorities
from outside the Nation shared their views on the importance of saving
Native American languages and summarized some of the teaching methods
they have found successful when working in their own communities.
