	Supreme Court welcomes Mark Butterfield On April 17, 2002, Mark Butterfield was sworn in as the first non Ho-Chunk member of the Nation’s Supreme Court.
	The Clan Mothers project In 1996, when social worker Myrtle Long started to work with the Nation’s troubled and at-risk children, there was only the Traditional Court of male elders handling issues concerning the well-being of children.

	HCN hosts Governor's Forum Leaders and officials from Native tribes across Wisconsin came together at the Ho-Chunk Convention Center in Baraboo, WI on April 16, 2002, asking questions and exchanging ideas with five candidates hoping to become the state’s next governor.
	Students think about tomorrow With another school year nearing an end, those graduating from high school are facing difficult decisions.
