The Nation shifts its population
On January 12, 2002 voting members of the Ho-Chunk Nation passed Scenario E, the Legislature’s latest proposal to redistrict the Nation’s population as required in Article V, Section 4 of the Constitution.
Donation will save lives and preserve a memory
Continuing the tradition of being a "good neighbor" to surrounding communities the Ho-Chunk Nation recently presented a $4,000 check to the Pittsville, WI Fire Department.
In Business to help others
Stating "that all organizations can use what I do", tribal member Wendy White Eagle of Arlington Heights, Illinois created her business, Customer Interaction Corp, to help organizations large and small, analyze and later fix the internal problems threatening their future.
More than meets the eye
Guests visiting Ho-Chunk Casino are no doubt aware of the security personnel throughout the facility, the people whose eyes and ears help protect and serve the thousands of people visiting the building.
Living with a teen-age driver
During the recent holidays a friend of mine, obsessed with the need to always be on time, agreed to meet me at my house. Eight a.m. sharp, we decided, was a good time to start our day together. Ready to go at that time, I was surprised to still be waiting nearly a half-hour later.
Elders on limited incomes may benefit from state program
Everyone is aware how difficult it can be to make ends meet on a limited budget. This is especially true for elders who may have additional monthly medical expenses.
Grant aids county officials to serve and protect those living on trust land property
Without distinct reservation limits or a tribal police force, the Ho-Chunk Nation depends on county law enforcement agencies to serve and protect its members living on trust land property.

Improving the Nation's Communities
As the Ho-Chunk Nation strives to improve its infrastructure and better serve tribal members, employees and visitors, constructing new roads and maintaining existing ones has become a year-round job.
