On October 14, 2001 the Majestic Pines Casino, Bingo and Hotel hosted a "Rally for Support," at the Lunda Park in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. This event was the coordinated efforts of the Ho-Chunk Nation and the Black River Falls community to raise money on behalf of the New York City Fire Fighters who were injured and the families of those who gave their lives helping others. A total of $1232.00 was raised and donated to the New York City Fallen Fire Fighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund.

Chief Clayton Winneshiek and Mayor Joe Hunter welcomed all to this event which included live entertainment, socializing, food and drink. The traditional Chief of the Ho-Chunk Nation, Clayton Winnesheik gave prayer and said, " glad to see the Ho-Chunk Nation and the community come together in this effort of support.." as a crowd of about 200 listened intently. Mayor Joe Hunter welcomed and acknowledged all the organizations participating which included Fire Departments from the surrounding areas, Andrew Blackhawk Post, RADD members, and 15 volunteers from Majestic Pines Casino.

Falls Florist donated all flower arrangements, Jubilee Foods donated buns, and Reinhart Foods and Pepsi donated food at cost. The " Marshall Star Band" donated their time to provide the entertainment. The Firefighters Prayer, and candlelight tribute was the highlight of the rally at the end of the evening. Mayor Joe Hunter commented "I thought this was absolutely great, I think this is how our organizations can work together. There should be more of this."
